Acceptance of Terms

Your access to and use of this site and all sites in the HomePlace Group Family ("the Website(s)") is subject exclusively to these Terms and Conditions. You will not use the Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions. By using the Website you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions you must immediately stop using the Website.
 

Shipping

We utilize a variety of shipping methods to get your purchase to you. The method your order is shipped depends on what you ordered. In any event, you will receive tracking numbers for your shipment directly from the shipping company. Please insure that you do not block or filter these emails out.

  • Most items will be shipped on the same business day for orders placed before 10 AM except freight orders which may take 3-5 days to process and orders having to be drop-shipped.

  • Depending on the item(s) you ordered, it will be shipped using either UPS, FedEx, the Postal Service, Freight Truck or White Glove Delivery.

  • UPS nor FedEx do not deliver to a P.O. Box.

  • Freight service is limited to curbside delivery, shipping to a business address would work best.

  • Your order will be processed manually to insure accuracy. We'll contact you by phone and/or e-mail if we have any questions in processing your order.

  • Shipment notifications are emailed to the email address you provided, please insure it is the correct one. Depending on the method of shipment, the email notification should come from Quantum View for UPS or from us for Postal Service, please insure that you do not blacklist these on your computer.   • Please feel free to e-mail support@HomePlaceGroup.com if you have any question about your order or have not received a confirmation e-mail within 72 hours. Please include full name (name used on the order and person shipped to, if different) and what you ordered. Please note that email requests without sufficient information get deleted.

  • If item is back ordered, sold out or out-of-stock, we will notify you.

  • Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, APO/FPO, Canada,  remote locations, restricted apartment buildings or condos, islands or peninsulas can ship at additional charge- please inquire. SEE BELOW

  • In cases where an appointment is made for delivery, a re-delivery fee will be charged if you miss your delivery appointment.

  • Some items like stowaways, Fu-Chests, trundles, rollaway beds and other heavy or large orders are too bulky for regular ground delivery. It will be delivered by truck to your home or office and does not include unpacking, or removal. These larger items typically take conger to receive.

  • In cases where an incorrect address is provided, a re-delivery fee will be charged.

  • Before signing for any delivery, please note any obvious damage to packaging on the Bill of Lading.  Do not accept packages that have obvious damage to the outside; if possible make a note next to your signature. Most often, the box may be damaged but the contents are fine.

  • Refusing an order at time of delivery is not acceptable, please click here for cancellation policy.

Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, APO/FPO, Canada, U.S. Territories & International

Shipping to every one of these locations costs extra money and takes extra time to process, prepare and clear customs. With this in mind, please note the following:

If you do not agree to pay for the extra shipping/processing costs, please do not order.

 

If you do not agree to allow for extra processing time, extra transit  and extra customs processing time, please do not order.

 

If you do not agree to pay your own country's customs fees, taxes, tariffs or brokerage fees, please do not order.

Additional Shipping Terms & Conditions for Hawaii, Alaska, APO/FPO, Canada, U.S. Territories & International

  • Payments are only accepted in U.S. Dollars via PayPal or International money orders. Funds must clear prior to shipping.

  • We will charge a flat $15 service fee for processing any merchandise order for under US $150.

  • Please inquire about specific shipping cost/terms before ordering by emailing support@homeplaceGroup.com

  • Please allow extra time for processing your order because all of these orders must shipped from our High Point facility and product must be forwarded there first from our other facilities or vendors.

  • Regardless of the method of shipment (boat, air, priority or express), your order will be going through customs in your country and will delay your delivery.

  • Please allow time for transit and clearing the customs process in your country (some countries have been known to hold up packages up to four weeks before sending them along).

  • You remain liable to pay any custom duties, tariffs or taxes that may be applicable to your locale. Because we were not involved in electing your officials or politicians, we have no way of calculating or estimating what your country charges in the way of surcharges, tariffs or taxes.

  • Please understand that all APO/FPO packages are processed at the convenience of the Government and is not within our control.

  • We must have your complete shipping address and local telephone number to ship your order.

  • Certain countries limit the size of the package and must be shipped via UPS Express which costs more than Postal Priority Service.

  • Please understand that UPS International Service provides tracking information. However,Postal Service does not provide tracking data, only confirmation, insurance or customs paperwork numbers. Unless you request UPS International Service, please do not request tracking information.

  • If possible, shipments to Hawaii, Alaska and APO/FPO will be shipped U.S. Priority Mail, please upgrade shipping when making your purchase. However, some items may be too large for Priority Mail.

 

Adjustable Bed, Sleep Lab or R/T Bed Shipping Information

For electric beds advertised with free shipping, the freight charge is included for most areas of the 48 contiguous states. Freight delivery is curbside. However, additional charges may be applicable and due for Fuel Surcharges or to the door delivery. In addition- remote locations, islands or peninsulas may incur additional surcharge- please inquire. In cases where an appointment is made for delivery, a re-delivery fee will be charged if you miss your delivery appointment. For shipping to Hawaii, Alaska or Canada-- please inquire. Please allow approx. two to five weeks for delivery (depending on where you live).  Once the bed ships, the order cannot be cancelled.  We cannot be held responsible for beds that will not fit into your home due to small entrances.

Freight shipping to a business address will greatly reduce the time it takes for delivery.

In-home delivery and installation is available as an option, please inquire. We would ship via White Glove In-Home delivery services.  Please allow 3-6 weeks for shipping based on your location.  Rural areas, remote locations and West Coast may take a bit longer.  Shipping and In-Home White Glove Delivery Service  includes in home set-up on the ground floor. For deliveries on higher floors, the typical charge is $50 extra per floor.  Extra charges may not apply for buildings with operational freight elevators.

We will inform you of the date the product was picked up by the delivery company.  In-Home delivery is a time consuming process that requires VERY careful planning.  Very concise planning involved in them getting your bed to you. The delivery company cannot deliver your order until they have a trip scheduled to your area.  They will call you BEFORE they load their trucks to set up a time for delivery. A re-delivery fee will be charged if you miss your delivery appointment. Re-delivery may be delayed several weeks as a result of a missed appointment.

Installation may include a two-person team to deliver and set up of your new bed — installation ensures your bed is set-up properly and is ready for you to sleep in. For insurance purposes, the delivery company is only allowed 30 minutes in a customer's home. Please have your room prepared for receiving the bed(s); delivery people are not responsible to move your furniture or old bed. Should you have any questions regarding operation of your new bed, please see the operating manual or give us a call.  The installation team, cannot train customers on the operation of the bed. 

 

 

Furniture Deliveries

When ordering large furniture items please note that we provide detailed size descriptions of each item. We cannot be held responsible for furniture that will not fit into your home due to small entrances. Please measure your entrances before ordering. Returns due to small entrances will incur responsibility for all shipping costs and our re-stock fee.

 

Unless specified, your furniture will be shipped via White Glove delivery service and all charges will be paid by you C.O.D. when they make the delivery. Please allow 3-6 weeks for shipping based on your location.  Rural areas, remote locations and West Coast may take a bit longer. 

 

Shipping and In-Home White Glove Delivery Service  includes in home set-up on the ground floor. For deliveries on higher floors, the typical charge is $50 extra per floor.  Extra charges may not apply for buildings with operational freight elevators. Old furniture or bedding is not removed by our delivery people, please make prior arrangements to prepare your room for receiving new bed or furniture.
